In combination with a schaerer® axis or arcus operating table the system gets its unique cantilever design, which permits an unlimited access for staff and equipment, such as C-arms. Furthermore, the design allows the transportation of the patient and the intraoperative adjustments of the patient position.

Advantages over existing spine tables
Single column design providing unrivalled C-Arm / O-Arm and anaesthesist access
Fully powered – therefore no hand winding of table height
4 post carbon frame, fully adjustable
Table can also be utilised for all other surgical disciplines when spine surgery is not performed

Four-post positioners
Individual adjustment of lateral position and angulation of the pads by one-touch release. Adaption for tall patients by longitudinal adjustment of the pad holders. The anatomically shaped visco elastic pads for male and female patients provides solid support during surgery and enables free abdomen. With a maximal patient weight capacity of 240 kg, the schaerer® Carbon Spine Frame can also be used for obese patients.

Access for anaesthesia and C-arms
Another advantage of the schaerer® Carbon Spine Frame is the unlimited access for the anaesthesia and C-arms. A transparent head plate and flexible mirror ensures visibility to the head of the patient at all times.

Table top in flex position
The motorized joint moves the table top to a flex or reflex position, even during surgery.
